Stupid question but if Obit and Madar plan on using the moon to reflect tsukuyomi how would it be infinite?? the moon rotates around the earth so it would not be able to affect everyone and tsukuyomi affects only those who have direct contact with. so what if no-one looks at the moon or few people do??. please explain this to me

You can't die in infinite tsukuyomi if the user can control time and space
i think they can live forever.

Look at itachi in a genjutsu it was 72 hours but for itachi it was just a second.

It's probably not that simple. I doubt that the Genjutsu could be avoided by simply not looking at the Moon. If that was the case, Madara's genius plan would be immensely flawed.

I'm just going with the basics of tsukuyomi here. do you think they found a way around it or??

I'm simply assuming that the Infinite Tsukuyomi doesn't necessarily follow the same laws as the normal one. After all, in order to use the Infinite Tsukuomi you need the power of a God on your side.

Well, I usually think the plan is a bit silly, because it would prevent people for making wars during the night, and as soon as there is daylight, the world would be the same as usual!

Unless this technique involves hypnotyzing people during their sleep to control their minds.
