[Theory] What Luffy will do with the fruit

I think Zoro will have a conversation about the fruit and he'll tell him to destroy it. Why would he destroy it? It'll be great character development on his behalf. How? If he destroys it, it implies that he doesn't need Ace's fruit to remember him. He is in his heart and soul and doesn't need the actual thing to prove he cares for him. (Or something along those lines)
And why Zoro? Because he was the one who talked him out of going to find Ussop

that speech shows that when Zoro is serious and talks for his Captain, neither Nami nor Sanji can stand up to him. That's why I think Zoro will change his mind.

Alot of people argue that Luffy hasn't developed as much as he should being the protagonist so with him destroying the fruit, it will truly show his development as a main protagonist. But I don't know how he'll destroy it, but Goda can definitely think of something.

That's why I think they'll destroy it in the Vegapunk arc. Since he knows basically everything about DF's, he should know how to permanently erase it.

I think that the DF should be kept by luffy. Then, when the time is right, he GIVES Shanks the straw hat and the DF. And then Shanks will have a DF finally

That's why I said Zoro will talk him out of it. Mugi said he's going to get Ussop back but Zoro made him act otherwise. Hence why Mugi wants someone to eat the fruit but Zoro will once again step-in like the First-Mate he is and make him act otherwise.
