What is Dark release in your own words
Dark Release is a KG which manipulates an opponent's chakra & used against them, the process revolves around absorbing a chakra source using two marks located on the user's palm, it stores the chakra within the marks & is mixed within the user's own chakra to release a powerful burst which can be shot toward the opponent. Weakness of Dark Release include Earth & Water as they both have a dense form slowing down the process of absorption (This does not mean it still cannot be done, but in RP terms it can only absorb a certain rank) & an offensive Dark Jutsu has little effect due to it mainly being comprised of chakra. Strengths of Dark Release include, Raw chakra, Fire, Lightning & Wind due to the elements not taking on a dense form or mixing with a natural substance like Earth & Water.

Why do you want to learn Dark release
Not being my number one choice of a KG, I still find Dark Release to be very adventurous Release, much can be done with it & with the right techniques a lot of fun can be seen in the future : P, I am more interested in the workings of Dark Release than its actual use & hopefully can learn a lot about that. I intend to focus around the Release of Dark Chakra over Absorption, but do have a afew ideas which may come in handy when absorbing Chakra.

Okay I'll go into more detail on what dark release is.

0. Meiton is a KG in which the user acts almost as an Organic Fuuinjutsu of sorts, absorbing and releasing physical and spiritual energies (chakra). Because it works, in a sense, like a Fuuinjutsu, the absorbed chakra doesn't actually enter the users Chakra Circulatory System (like what happens with the Rinnegan's absorption abilities) but its kept in the KG mark, as if stored in a separate space within the body. One can say the squares (upper and lower) are much like portals to the sealing space but the sealing space has no connection with the user's chakra. Because of this, the user has little control over the form he can release said chakra. As he releases it, it manifests in a raw energy form rather than a specific elemental one.

Okay, I shall explain the strength and weaknesses of our KG.

Dark Release is strong towards energy based elements because energy absorption is the core ability of dark release. Not only that but Energy is easier to absorb and manipulate than matter. Another thing, Dark is able to absorb things like; Storm, Dust, Scorch and even raw Sage Jutsu.

But when release your opponents technique, if your opponent blocks using any of the following; The four obvious ones; Fire, Lighting, Wind and Raw chakra along side these more uncommon ones; Sand, Rain, Steam or Boil you will have the upper hand, since dark just eats right though energy based chakra.

While Dark isn't strong against Water and Earth since they are both matter elements and, lets be real you can't absorb something that is matter, just doesn't work like that. Earth suffers double strength towards the absorbing ability of Dark Release (meaning that only an S-Rank Dark release can absorb a B-Rank Earth technique)

And again when release your opponents technique. If your opponent blocks using any of the following; The two obvious ones Earth and Water as well as; Solid Ice, Steel, Wood or Lava. They will overpower your dark as they are matter based.

The reason I like dark release, it gives you the chance to absorb your opponent attack and redirect it stronger.

- The limit; there is no limit, you can absorb any amount of techniques that are lighting/wind and fire.
Dante said; "Yes you can absorb 2 techniques without releasing the absorbed chakra just yet, but you can only use the Judgment technique once, because it releases all of the absorbed chakra into flames, think of Dark Release absorption as a "seal" that absorbs chakra within it, then it breaks once you release the chakra."
- You can hold them as long as you want to; again said by Dante. "You can release the absorbed chakra through the judgement technique anytime, it doesn't have any restrictions like that."
- I believe so, but I'd be careful how you go about it.
- Um, from what I've heard, they are not accepting anymore Dark customs that don't use Inhaling Maw. In the past you could, like I did. But that was before that rule was made.
- Most of the techniques you're going to learn have striking resemblance to those techniques, but I believe they are the same thing.

Moving on;

I want you to get a feel for the chakra.

I want you to gather and mold both your lighting and fire chakra in one hand, seems simple enough? I want you to be as detail as you can.

I extend my left arm forward having my palm face up, revealing a shape similar to two diamonds, one overlapping the other. I begin kneading my fire chakra within me & have it spread throughout my left arm, while doing so I take on the difficult task of "maneuvering" the heated chakra toward my left hand & also focusing on vibrating my chakra at the same time to also form lightning chakra, in doing so both motions of chakra mix together around my left hand releasing a Dark shroud of chakra to surround my hand.

(Meiton: Kuro Aku Reiki) - Dark Release: Evil Black Aura

Description: The user will release dark waves of chakra towards their target through their hand.

So this is a simple jutsu; I want you to gather up your newly made dark chakra and I want you to use shape manipulation on your dark chakra, once you do that I want you to form outwards in front of you as a small wave. That you will send towards my clone, who is at mid-range of you.

• 1. Unless I am wrong, Inhaling Maw is not needed to initiate this jutsu
• 2. Due to it being described as a series of waves, it should be able to cover a wide area
• 3. No handseals are needed so this could be more helpful at Close Range

One/three disadvantages:

• 1. Being only a C Rank jutsu, an Earth or Water D Rank can overpower this with ease
• 2.
• 3.

How you would use it in battle: When an opponent comes in close range of me I would use this jutsu to clash against them & push them back leaving them unbalanced & follow through with a second attack while they are disorientated

How you would counter it: A simple wave of Water or Earth to overcome the jutsu while continuing onward toward my opponent

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I begin by focusing on my chakra manipulating it into a dark source while having it spread toward my left hand, I then extend my left hand forward with a great thrust, releases waves of dark chakra straight forward

Description: The user will release a black, widespread wave made of dark chakra at their opponent just a wave of their hand.

This is similar to the last technique; I want you to gather up your dark chakra and I want you to use shape manipulation on your dark chakra, once you do that I want you to form outwards in front of you as a larger wave. That you will send towards my clone, who is at long range of you. This is a longer wave and goes further then the latter.

One/three advantages:

• 1. Reaches a longer range than the previous
• 2. Is a widespread attack, striking multiple opponents
• 3. No handseals required
• 4. Would take a wide scale attack to defend against

One/three disadvantages:

• 1. As it is a wide scale attack, it would push the opponent to use a higher rank jutsu to defend against as they consist of large jutsu.
• 2. Would take moments longer than the original, making it more obvious of the user's actions
• 3.

How you would use it in battle: Would be best used as previous or against a smaller attack, to defend against & still carry on toward the opponent.
How you would counter it: Create a large Earth or Water defense, which would also block the opponents vision & carry through a Lightning attack.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I Would begin my manipulating my Dark chakra around my left arm & spread toward my hand, I would then swipe my arm across from either side releasing the large wave toward my opponent.

Description: By gathering dark chakra into both their hands, the user can then unleash a powerful and focused shock wave that, when it hits a person close range it could cause tremendous internal damage.

Okay with this one, I want you to gather a decent amount of meiton chakra in both your hands, then I want you to use shape manipulation on the chakra to focus it down to a shock that you will then proceed to form the shock wave outwards in front of you, my clone will be short range from you, sending this towards my clone at short range will cause tremendous internal damage, so this technique is best for short range.

One/three advantages:

• 1. As said, causes major internal damage at short range
• 2. No handseals required, can be used as a surprise attack
• 3. Best used on a disoriented opponent

One/three disadvantages:

• 1. Not much expected when opponent is at long range, power would be lessened
• 2. As a focused blast, can be avoided when used for a mid-long range attack
• 3.

How you would use it in battle: best used after attacking an opponent in cqc, strike then leaving them unbalanced somehow & while they attempt to regain their footing, hit this sucker with them
How you would counter it: cause a tremor under the opponent to unbalance them, causing the shockwave to change direction
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I begin by gathering my Dark chakra & manipulating it around my arms, spreading it throughout both palms, I then extend my arms forward pressed against each other & aim toward the clone, I follow by releasing a large shockwave toward it.

(Meiton: Kyūketsukō) - Dark Release: Inhaling Maw

Description: The user uses their dark release to forcibly extract the physical and spiritual energy (chakra) of another ninja and absorb it through the upper square of the mark on his left hand, which can then be used to perform Dark Release: Judgment.
Note: Can absorb up to A-Rank Wind, Fire and Lightning techniques, S-Rank raw chakra or C-Rank Water, all within reason. Has no effect on Earth techniques.

Now comes the most useful of all dark release techniques; Okay, I am going to create and release an A-rank fire technique I want you to put out your right hand with the two diamonds on your hand, using your dark chakra I want you to start to extract and absorb the physical and spiritual energy (chakra) of my jutsu into the upper diamond on your right hand. (Don't release the technique yet)

-I gather and release a large amount of katon chakra that forms a large fireball, that travels towards you.-

(Katon: Gōka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Hellfire Technique

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and breath out from their mouth a large fireball that travels at the opponent. As it reaches the opponent it bursts into a maelstrom of fire engulfing them in flames.

• 1. No handseals required, making it very useful in surprise situations
• 2. Holds no limit to size of incoming jutsu
• 3. Still able to absorb a low rank body of water

One/three disadvantages:

• 1. No effect on Earth jutsu
• 2. leaves the user opponent to further attack while "Inhaling" current jutsu
• 3. my Guess would be, the larger the jutsu the longer the extraction time

How you would use it in battle: To counter incoming Fire, Wind, Lightning jutsu, break apart any chakra barriers created by the opponent due to it being pure chakra.
How you would counter it: Use any number of earth &/or water jutsu to overcome it.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): As I focus on the incoming jutsu close in toward me, I raise my arm up extending it forward having my palm face out, with the fire reaching only meters way from me I begin manipulating my dark chakra to absorb chakra from the fire itself, having it dispel in a quick manner.

Okay; now I want you to convert the chakra that your absorbed though your upper diamond into dark chakra and you will release though your bottom diamond the converted chakra should come out as blue flames that amplified, I want you to send the flames towards my clone who is at mid-range.

• 1. Helpful when needing to push the opponent back
• 2. useful when needing to unbalance an opponent, leading to a better chance of striking them after.
• 3. covers a large area against multiple opponents

One/three disadvantages:

• 1. not helpful when using against earth or water
• 2.
• 3.

How you would use it in battle: Best used in close range, if stuck in a tough position it can be used to blow the target away giving the user time to strike back
How you would counter it: create a defensive wall based on earth of water
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):As I finish absorbing my opponent's chakra, I begin manipulating it within the diamond mark, mixing it with my own chakra having it take over & form into my own dark chakra, I then continue to motion my arm towards the positioned clone & forcibly expel the dark chakra within the lower half of the diamond mark having a mass of blue flames covering over a large area, rapidly travel toward the clone blowing him back on contact.

(Meiton: Chō Kasseiken) - Dark Release: Super Revival Fist

Description: This jutsu works in similar fashion to rasengan. by gathering dark chakra into the users hand, the user can create a dark orb with two dark rings around it (giving an atomic look). The user will then plow the orb into the opponent, resulting in the opponent being with tremendous bone shattering force.

This works the same as the rasengan; I want you to gather up a large amount of dark chakra in your choice of hand, I want to concentrate the dark chakra to form a orb with two dark rings around it, giving it an atomic like look. You then will run up to my clone holding the orb plow it into him, it will hit the clone causing tremendous bone shattering damage

How you would use it in battle: Best to use when opponent is unfocused or regaining their balance, maybe used as a suprise attack from the back.
How you would counter it: Create an Earth armor around me, though I would think it would still do some sort of damage to the armor itself, but dependent on Rank
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I begin by raising my left arm forward having my palm face up, I focus on my Dark chakra manipulating it around my left hand, I then draw upon my Chakra to spread up & form a small sphere hovering just over my palm, I continue to add chakra enlarging the size of the sphere. As the sphere fully forms I continue to manipulate my chakra around the sphere having two rings begin spinning around the sphere.
