Let's Say Tobirama can use all of the water release that has been shown in the manga and anime just to visualize the fight better.

Here are the Available Water Release Techniques Tobirama can use.

Gaara has great survivability and defensive skills he also has one of best AoE skills in the naruto we have witnessed.

Tobirama is just a PRO at water release, he can cover the whole battlefield with water. just imagine his AoE attacks.

Sensory Abilities - Gaara can detect any incoming attack because the sand is passive to protect him. As for Tobirama he can put his finger in the ground and detect the enemy location in an instant.

Charka Reserve - not sure which one got the bigger tank.

Difficulty is 1 to 10, 1 the easiest 10 the hardest
Example if you decide who's going to win its going to be like this
(Gaara wins difficulty 5 or Tobirama wins difficulty 5)

Gaara would put up a good fight. I love both of them but...I think Tobirama really takes this one by idk. Maybe a 7 or 8 difficulty. There's just no way Gaara can keep up with the immense raw power.

gaara is powerful but tobirama is something else, he has too many counters too gaara's abilities, water, gaara has never fought a s/t user and he is fast and physically strong and he is one of the greatest sensor's ever he can put his finger on the ground and tell how man people are around

I'd say Tobirama could take Gaara using just those feats.

Pretty silly for two reasons:

1. Wet sand anyone? Guess Gaara could have a "quick sand" technique up his sleeves (just in case...)

2. Gaara was captured by Dadaria. So this becomes a Dadaria vs Tobirama as well. ...Or a Rock Lee vs Tobirama.

he hasnt shown any such speed. gaaras sand blocked A's kick, stopped 5 susano swords without gaara even lookig in that direction, and gaara himself saved all 4 kages before madara could poison them with pollen

false. water has never had any effect on gaaras sand. it has chakra running throough it making it not normal sand

Yeah, where did everyone get this "water slows down gaaras sand" claim from... The only exploited weakness was temporary impairment by a barrage of oil from the jutsu of the second Mizukage.

for one We don't really know much of Tobiramas abilities but if we find out who killed him and how we can gauge his weaknesses... I could have sworn the gold and silver brothers fataly wounded him but someone said I was wrong about that.

I say with no intel battle goes to gaara with full intel battle goes to tobirama.
Tobirama can't bypass gaara 1'st defense on a 1 on 1 since gaara is not protecting anyone. Gaaras sand is also adhesive so taijutsu and physical movement is highly limited. Also Suna raisen might also be a problem for Tobirama.

On offense both the pair seem similar both able to recreate the battlefield one with water, one with Sand.
However based on what we KNOW Tobiramas limited abilities are definitely not putting gaara away.. just because he's the almighty second hokage and gaara actual growth was exposed to readers & watchers. His edo tensei can be a threat but... who the hell can he summon and where and when will he be casting such a lengthy jutsu against a character that has the ability to effortlessly seal anything within the radius of the immediate battlefield.

So not enough is known to actually make valid speculation on Tobiramas behalf...but now that i think of it...If Gaara learns Sound Genjutsu He would literally be OP...
