[Question] Mera Mera no Mi to whom?

To be honest I wouldn't like to see any of the straw hates eat the Mera Mera no Mi. But if one doesn't what do they do with the fruit? If anyone in the crew had to eat it I would like it to be Sanji it fits him perfect. But maybe an enemy eats it who knows till we get to see.What are all of your thoughts on this hard question?

-Luffy is okay with a teammate having it seeing how he offered it to Franky

I was also think this as well and it's why If Sanji did get the fruit I think Odo would end up giving Zoro one as well. He like to keep the monster trio close in power. But if in fact they all had a devil fruit what happens if about the swimming part or the lack of have people to save you. But then I though well when Jinbei joins the crew down the line there set. so I dont know well have to see.

As you and everyone said...it should be kept as a treasure like Shanks had the Gommu- Gommu no mi, or how he treasures his hat.

However, were a member to get it.....hard to say....if it was a weapon that took it...probably Zoro's Sword or Ussop's Kabuto.

Simply because she's the one who needs it the most. Rescuing drowning DF. Users has always been Zoro, Sanji, or Ussop's job. Zoro wants to be the greatest swordsman so I can't see him taking one...would be like cheating. Sanji could have used it well, but his blue walk and sky walk would become useless. Also, the flanking diablo jambel leg he squirrel through years of working at a hot stove would become no longer needed as well. Just can't see Ussop eating it other than his weapon. He also already has fire attacks.

Nami I overall weak in combat unlss she has prep time. With the Merra- Merra she has options other than hoping she csn have enough time or that someone doesn't see through her Mirage Tempo. Also, she could use the fire with her cool balls more efficiently making a thunderstorm tempo!!!

If Oda decides to give the mera mera no mi to a Strawhat, it would be bad writing IMO. Why would you have everybody train for 2 years if you are going to give 1 of them a free powerup right after the Timeskip.

I thing Coby will eat it, the blind man(I think it is fujitora) is probably going to bring back the fruit to headquarters and give the fruit to garp and he will then give it to coby. This way Coby has a chance of becoming a Admiral before the series end.

That would be cool to see and makes total sense of a logical way for the story to go but later on as the story progresses some of the straw hats Ussop and Nami will need to be stronger and maybe just maybe they will end up with it.

Well it wouldn't really be bad writing...it would just be another twist in the story as Oda ain't going to make the strawhats as powerful as they can get after 2 years watching one of them train in the devil fruit might actually be interesting.

Also the two years training comes back onto you as well since it would be like giving Coby a free power up and his 2 years of training will become just as useless.

I hope someone we don't expect gets it...possibly Sabo if he turns out to be still alive.

No problem...I can't see the Clima Tact eating the fruit, but I can see Nami herself eating it (of course assuming that someone HAD to eat it....otherwise I'd hope no one ate it. It was Ace's fruit...no one else should really take its power).

There is an awesome theory that's been going on around lately. Basically, Garp sent fujitora to go snatch the mera mera no mi and bring it back to him. I'm assuming he'll either eat the fruit, lock it up somewhere or give it to coby.

I've been really liking this theory...though it was Akainu who sent him. Anyways, I'm betting Fujitora will end up with it, and Coby will get it! That would be for the best!
