Can rinnegan cast/break genjutsu?

Are you serious? Tayuyas genjutsu was unbreakable without another set of eyes for the brothers to cast their genjutsu on.

1. Nagato needed to pierce jiraiya first with his black rods if he wanted to escape the genjutsu...Thats why he didnt break out of it...........

Jiraiya got three of the paths in the genjutsu, nagato was controlling three of them from a distance why didnt he just disrupt the 3 paths chakra with this "genjutsu" through the rods which connected them?

Itachi and Sasuke didnt need to cast their genjutsu on the host of the original genjutsu which was kabuto which is what you're claiming nagato had to do to jiraiya, even though nagato the original was not directly under jiraiyas genjutsu and was controlling another three other paths who were also not in the genjutsu

My point is the original nagato wasnt under jiraiyas genjutsu and was still sending chakra through to the rods if it was a genjutsu those rods connceted to the paths under genjutsu would break free

Exactly like you said, if it was genjutsu coming from the rods it would have broke the paths out and making them completely immune to any genjutsu at the "rods genjutsu" level or lower but no it's not genjutsu it's Nagato controlling them.

Nagato pumps his chakra into enemy body. This chakra will have to overpower the flow of the target chakra in order gain control.
To have really effective control he will need to pump even more. So in order to gain control over mind(true genjutsu) he will have to waste alot of chakra and some time, by then u can remove the rod with some effort, as we've seen
And just from technical stand point its not genjutsu as its not yin release.

This is what I'm trying to say and clearly you're the only moron. Nagato uses the rods to CONTROL anyone he pierces, if dead he can control fully as they have no will or chakra to fight back and if alive then he can slightly control as they are alive and have the will and chakra to fight back.

He is controlling his chakra, when he wants to place an enemy under genjutsu then he will have to disrupt those rods, simple.

You think that because Nagato can control with the black rods it means that he cant do anything else with them. Those rods are chakra transmitters...All they do is transmit chakra, nagato can then use that chakra as he pleases. He can use it like puppet strings to control corpses, or he can disrupt it when pierced in an enemy to cast genjutsu, I see no falsity in this.

Well that question could be answered....but 1st you must know if it can even be affected by genjutsu because the only types of genjutsu thas has actually worked on it is sound, so imo yes but only if its sight..

Actually one last thing before I go, he isn't using the rods on himself now is he? He is using it on another person. That person may be using his chakra but as that chakra is in another body he can disrupt it as it's not in himself which means he can break them out of genjutsu using the genjutsu on the rods, but he can't use genjutsu through the rods, so no you're wrong.
