Whether it be offered to your artworks and fiction, or your personality? How do you handle being corrected?
Corrected by context, being told what's better for you in the end.
And in this case as well, the person offering advice, is not doing it annoyingly, but out of your best interest. How do you respond to it? (I'm not referring to religious preachers) *_*

It depends on how you word it to be honest.

For example: Rikerslade sometimes I feel your love for porn is too impulsive. I hope you don't mind if I suggest cutting back a bit on it.

I usually take it well, unless it's not helpful.

Honestly, I don't take constructive criticism very well. But life is about learning and iv'e learned that when you don't know how to take any criticism it just make's you seem unlike-able. Just learn from your mistakes and try to understand that people are only trying to be honest with you.

Depends the matter...I don't like being corrected when I state my opinion cause,it's my opinion, stating yours if it contradicts mine is welcomed but trying to change my mind??I wanna kick you...
When it comes to creative things like art,all opinions are appreciated and I really love some good advices.Of course if they are being said in a nice way.I dislike people without manners or those who are being rude and critical for no reason. If your attitude is not good towards me,whatever you have to say goes down the drain.
Same goes for personality too.

This!
I deliberately try to take a very criticism as a constructive one, not that I always can. In fact it shames not doing that 'coz it takes some arrogance and to me Pride is a huge deal in more ways than the religious ones.

Well usually it depends on if they can back up their advice with proof and evidence. Also, it depends if they are kind about how they say the advice

Very well actually. I tend to keep in mind that 'the human ego' is something I can switch on and off. Even if a simpleton at the gym tries to act like a smartass by giving me tips how to do things I've done for years, I stay quiet and follow up on his advice. Staying neutral works for me.

On work, writing or studying or otherwise, yes, I handle that well.

On me, and/or my personality, no. Absolutely not well at all.

I don't mind. That person is just trying to help you. Whether I listen to it is a different thing. I guess it depends a lot on the subject, whether I want or need help with it, or not.
