This is based off my last thread because I compared Bleach to YuYu Hakisho..but yeaa are there any fans of the show on the base??

It was always one of my favorite anime along with DBZ..but I think it's mostly because they had "endings" to them whereas it seems naruto and onepiece are going to go on forever lol

Anywho, I can't really say that I'm really really into anime..I've only watched the ones I mentioned plus Full Metal, and I've only read Naruto's manga. I've only read Naruto's manga mostly because I'm afraid that once I start reading the mangas it's going to ruin the anime for me lol but yeaa can anyone suggest some shows to me that are kinda similar to the ones I mentioned pleaassse??

Thanks :)

I loved that show. I never saw the ending, I loved how there were no fillers.

Hell yeah, I am! I used to have Kurama as my avatar. YYH set the bar high for other anime, so I understand why you haven't watch many other ones.

It's absolutely excellent. Old now, but I STRONGLY recommend it to any fan of Naruto or Bleach. Shares a lot of similarities with Bleach, really. Without the countless fillers. I mean, it centers around a human teenager who becomes an agent of the spirit realm, fighting actual demons. The main character even has a "mysterious" ancestry that reveals he isn't entirely human. Just like Ichigo. There's even an arc about his predeccesor that turned evil, like Kugo Ginjo.

Really, people. Watch it. Kurama is one of my all time favorite anime characters. Human form, and his natural demon fox form.

I watched that anime as a small child, then watched it front to end last year. Probably gonna start it again.

I haven't watched it in ages but I do remember that I enjoyed it a lot.
Especially the main character. Badass.

I'm here!

OT: 1. Yu Yu Hakusho*
2. Greatest anime ever created.
3. Check out Ao no Exorcist or Darker Than Black. And by Full Metal, I'm assuming you mean Full Metal Alchemist? Because I think Full Metal Panic! is a really good comedy, mecha anime that is also worth checking out.

Try to ruin some of the last arc, why don't you? -____-

Lol yeaaa I meant FMA and thanks for the recommendations, it will definitely give me something to watch while I wait for the weekly Naruto and OnePiece episodes.

That would only ruin it if you've already watched the series. Anybody who isn't familiar with it will have literally no idea what I'm talking about until they got to that part, at which point, it's irrelevent.

I don't expect much in terms of intelligence on this forum, but at least try and think before jumping on someone's case. If you're not sure how to form thoughts, let me know and I'll help you. Moron.

Wonderfully said, man. The characters have such radiant and distinct personalities like no other series besides One Piece. Yusuke with the hilarious jokes; Kurama with the cool phrases and beast strategies; Hiei being the cool, silent type; Kuwabara with his dumbness; Jin the Wind Master being a goofball; etc.
Yeah, I noticed how similar Sensui and Ginjo were. I wouldn't call Kubo a copy-cat though; he was just inspired.
Hell yeah, Yoko Kurama was on an whole other level of badassness.

Saying he's not entirely human is relevant. They'll be waiting for the specific moment where it explains his non-humanness. Kinda spoils a little secret about said character anyways.

You're always so cynical and condescending. The only reason I can think of as to why you're this way is because you're just overly insecure and scared because your life, most likely, is going nowhere, and your only means of satisfaction is attempting to tear down others via the Internet. Kind of a sad life.

*goes to SilverSuck's profile* *looks at his status* Yep, insecure and egotistical.

Right? It really is a show that incorporates a lot of the more popular aspects of recent series, without a lot of the bad. And it's a decade older. I really wish the newer shit would follow Yu You Hakusho's lead.

The series had it all. Action, humor, and drama. And none of it seem forced, or redundant. The right amount of each. It also focused on much fewer characters than new series, which made the development of the main characters much more in depth. Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei, Kuwabara, and Genkai. Man, forgot how ****ing awesome Genkai was throughout the entire series!
