Many people accept that Madara gave Nagato the Rinnegan. However, why is it in previous posts that I've done about it, there are people that say I'm wrong in thinking that Nagato was supernaturally born with/genetically unlocked the Rinnegan before Madara did?

An important rule to Naruto theories: A theory could be right/wrong and those that think against the theory could be right/wrong.
That is, why is that there are people may accept this theory as being true but consider my theory wrong?

It's the same with the NaruHina and NaruSaku debate: While I prefer NaruSaku, the other pairing may happen.

"While I believe [X event] happened, the other event may be what really happened".

It's dangerous to accept certain claims certain characters make by ignoring the fact that they could, in fact, be lying.

Please don't flame me for this! I am asking for thoughts on this.

Kishimoto is one of them. Just saying.

It was stated that Madara gave his eyes to a 'certain person'. Seeing as there was only one person with the Rinnegan, it's kind of obvious.

No, Uzumaki are the body, not the eyes.

Though Kishi writes the story, I don't 1 should accept everything that an evil character says to be true. This is especially from the corpse of a power-crazed, manipulative madman that is seriously underestimating Naruto and that is likely his greatest recent mistake.

Madara wouldn't have a reason to lie about it.
Actually,Madara's story can only be true.
Obito made a connection with Nagato because he knew he had the rinnegan and he needed him to complete his plan.
If Nagato was just a random kid who had awakened the rinnegan,Madara couldn't possibly knew him. It's hardto believe that Madara in his old age and his pitifull physical state happened tocome across with baby Nagato and realize he had rinnegan.Cause Obito knew from the start who Nagato was and his powers,so he could only get this info by Madara who gave Nagato his eyes.
