A question on Hashirama Senju?

Well, hashi was known tobe the strongest shinobi at his time. His rival, Madara Uchiha,was considered the strongest Uchiha. Now, my question is this. Hashi was known as the strongest shinobi, but never the strongest Senju. Just like Hiruzen. He was never known as the strongest Sarutobi. Madara was known as the strongest Uchiha. But,why was Hashi(and Hiruzen never considered the strongest ever in their respective clans?Is it tht there were stronger senju or sarutobi??

I doubt that there were stronger ones in the Senju and Sarutobi clans, they're just never called the strongest in their clans, but that doesn't mean that they weren't.

Well,,,,from what we ve seen so far,,there is no doubt hashi is the strongest senju cos if there were another senju more powerful than hashi,,why didnt he just pop up and kill madara and every other uchiha that are against the senjus once and for all but as for sarutobi,,i doubt if he z the strongest sarutobi...

Senju were stronger then Sarutobi, Hashirama was the strongest from his lineage, due to Mokuton. hope that answered your thing.
