Wrong, obito can control the bijuu via outer path, thats why he started a war with the kage before he met up with kabuto. He was confident that 6 bijuu + gedo statue would be enough to capture naruto

And if you dont think that the bijuu could be controlled via outer path, they already were (black rods) and naruto had to destroy them to sever the connection

He still needs the Edo Jins to control the Bijuu. He can't summon them from the statue without vessels.

- Hizuren is fodderized before EMS Sasuke. Tobirama is featless, and his Suiton attacks are useless before Amaterasu variants and Susano'o.
- Orochimaru is one-shotted with Enton Arrow or Sword and EMS Genjutsu.

- Jiraiya has no speed feats to dodge any of his quick enton attacks and not to mention his Genjutsu. He is literally a fodder here.
- Itachi has a weaker Ocular powers, and as shown by Madara and Sasuke, EMS is tiers above it, there is zero contest between the eternal eyes and the eyes susceptible to blindness and leeching effects on the body.

Jiraiya battled & analyzed the abilities of three initial pains flawlessly & countered with a genjutsu that defeated all three, by Pain's own admission had he not kept his secret he would have "never" defeated Jiraiya, furthermore Jiraiya showed great strength & speed in Sage Mode, as he was able to move faster than the Paths could react for the most part forcing them to rely on their shared vision & was able to rip apart the giant lizard summon with just his tongue, even after the ambush of the remaining paths that left Jiraiya missing an arm, Jiraiya was able to battle all 6 to a stand still & even manage to kill another path despite the battle being 6 vs 1..Don't underestimate Jiraiya.shodaimeicon:
