If we are going by abilities alone, then Sakura should totally be a jounin. However, emotionally, I don't think she's ready for such leadership. Once she gets her emotions in check, then she would make an excellent jounin.

Sakura sure is good at dealing with emotions. Sometimes she cries but tears are not always signs of weakness IMO....

She sure can be elite Jounin plus she has been more level headed as compared to Naruto and Sasuke.

But what about battle leadership. Medical wise yeah she is a great leader but it probably be different in battle if she is a leader

She's very intelligent and would quickly pick up on battle tactics if necessary. Being one of the rare ones to pass the Chunin written exam without cheating and being a quick study would aid her in making fast and smart decisions most likely.

She'd have to be given that role though in order for us to see how well she'd handle it.

How do you know she pass? But that's on paper i am talking about in action and she needs too handle her emotions a lot better before she she gets a chance. It would be hard to pick out battle tactics while she is crying or angry

She studied for it and stated she didn't need to cheat.

Unless it involved Sasuke (who even Naruto can't get it together for) or Naruto's life, Sakura's will is very strong and she could push through her emotions, but sometimes being emotional is a greater strength than being emotionless.

Naruto cries a lot too but he still wins his battles, and he's never emotionless and sometimes fueled by his anger.

True. But sometimes her emotions can get the better of her. Like when she could have killed Sasuke, but she didn't. Being a jounin, she has to be able to lead and defend with a clear mind. While most of the time I believe she could, she tends to become a little unstable with Sasuke. And if her group is in danger, she can't let such emotions endanger the team. But overall, I do think she would make a great jounin, and Kishimoto needs to start letting her show off her abilities.

I don't think crying is weak point of her character .
Lots of strong shinobi cry .

Come on do you seriously think that Poisoned Kunai would have Sasuke ?? Even if she had stabbed him he was given antidotes by Orochimaru so he would have survived it with ease. Plus Sakura knew she was going to die if Sasuke knew she was there to kill him. It was a uphill battle for her to begin with. As for Sasuke she is just emotional but you have to admire her resolve because she was ready to kill him for protecting Naruto so I liked that one as well.

She was calm and composed when she handled the situation during pain attack when Naruto went Berserk. She did handled the situation like a pro there. She will improve little by little and we see her in action soon as well. Yeah this thread was without any hate or bashing but you will some hate threads for sure

There is no such thing call special jounin .

It's title from anime but manga even ebsui title is jounin

. The thing is that they are around high chunin level for the most part but due to their specialty, they can qualify as Tokubetsu jounin. Sakura is a skilled medic and her medical skills and intelligence is easily high jounin level but her overall combat prowess is around high chunin level so I think this title suits her well.

What is impressive about being jounin, they all die like fodder anyways. Of course she is strong enough to become Jonin if she took the test though. I honestly think almost all k12 would manage it with ease.
