how many fights have we seen itachi lose?

1, and that was to sasuke, while he was sick and his intent was to lose the fight.

any other opponent itachi has taken down with ease, or decided the fight wasn't worth his time and took off.

he is most definately one of the most skilled ninja we have seen, most knowledgable as well, and is easily in the top 10

Well, many people like Itachi for his attitude or the way he thinks about his Village coming before his family or simply the badass he is.

People said Itachi so strong because he has sunanoo , Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu . but you dont count how many times he can use those power . EXSAMPLE If he uses in a battle all of then a least 1 time he probably died , because he was sick and he doesnt have that much chakra too use all of then in a battle .
