If North Korea attacks US, we will have to retaliate and therefore decimating North Korea.
I just hope that don't happen since there would be too many casualties.

What is China doing? They need to tell the North that they are starting to look stupid.LOL

It won't happen.
All N.K is doing is just trying to get the US to attack first.
N.K been threatening to attack for years now,but always never do.

Though I won't be surprise that they will fire some rockets on Friday.
No doubt if they do,it will cause WWlll as well since if the US attacks back china will be force to do the same.

On the other hand, if China is sending signals that NK is misbehaving, that might also be seen as a reason to assert themselves.

Since China doesn't own the entire US economy (yet), I doubt very much they want a shooting war either. That's bad for business.

I doubt they truly do anything....the US is superior militarily...jot to mention we have more nukes.

To answer you're question, I'd wonder how in the world I survived a nuclear blast. I'd also lay low to avoid radiation (probably wouldn't help).

It is Operation Foal Eagle. Conducted every march, of every year, since like 1950-something.

August is Operation Ulchi Freedom Guardian. Same story - every year. Pay attention, the media will make it sound like there's some "increasing tensions" along the border because of the annual exercises. Because the masses are stupid and forget what happened two days ago.

Not that tensions aren't increasing - but it's more so that the RoK is getting really, really tired of their long lost family in the North being so obnoxious.

North Korea's level of military might is a weird Frankenstein's monster of World War II Germany that had solid state electronics.

The main problem is that they have a million man army that will be quite hungry if they ever try to do anything with it. Forget equipping them with rifles and ammunition - they'd have problems keeping them all in boots and proper nourishmnent.

They, literally, have an up-scaled V-1 rocket that they are still trying to get to function properly.

It would be funny if they weren't seriously deluded into thinking that they are a relevant military power. That kind of ignorance will likely end up getting a lot of people killed. Mostly North Koreans.

Hmmm I hope this helps:
SEOUL, South Korea โ€” North Korean leader Kim Jong Un warned Friday that his rocket forces were ready "to settle accounts with the U.S.," unleashing a new round of bellicose rhetoric after U.S. nuclear-capable B-2 bombers dropped dummy munitions in joint military drills with South Korea.

Kim's warning, and the litany of threats that have preceded it, don't indicate an imminent war. In fact, they're most likely meant to coerce South Korea into softening its policies, win direct talks and aid from Washington, and strengthen the young leader's credentials and image at home.

But the threats from North Korea and rising animosity from the rivals that have followed U.N. sanctions over Pyongyang's Feb. 12 nuclear test do raise worries of a misjudgment leading to a clash.

Kim "convened an urgent operation meeting" of senior generals just after midnight, signed a rocket preparation plan and ordered his forces on standby to strike the U.S. mainland, South Korea, Guam and Hawaii, state media reported.

Kim said "the time has come to settle accounts with the U.S. imperialists in view of the prevailing situation," according to a report by the North's official Korean Central News Agency.

Later Friday at the main square in Pyongyang, tens of thousands of North Koreans turned out for a 90-minute mass rally in support of Kim's call to arms. Men and women, many of them in olive drab uniforms, stood in arrow-straight lines, fists raised as they chanted, "Death to the U.S. imperialists." Placards in the plaza bore harsh words for South Korea as well, including, "Let's rip the puppet traitors to death!"

Small North Korean warships, including patrol boats, conducted maritime drills off both coasts of North Korea near the border with South Korea on Thursday, South Korean Defense Ministry spokesman Kim Min-seok said in a briefing Friday. He didn't provide more details.

The spokesman said that South Korea's military was mindful of the possibility that North Korean drills could lead to an actual provocation. He also said that the South Korean and U.S. militaries are watching closely for any signs of missile launch preparations in North Korea. He didn't elaborate.

North Korea, which says it considers the U.S.-South Korean military drills preparations for invasion, has pumped out a string of threats in state media. In the most dramatic case, Pyongyang made the highly improbable vow to nuke the United States.

On Friday, state media released a photo of Kim and his senior generals huddled in front of a map showing routes for envisioned strikes against cities on both American coasts. The map bore the title "U.S. Mainland Strike Plan."

Portions of the photo appeared to be manipulated, though an intriguing detail โ€” a bandage on Kim's left arm โ€” appeared to be real.

Experts believe the country is years away from developing nuclear-tipped missiles that could strike the United States. Many say they've also seen no evidence that Pyongyang has long-range missiles that can hit the U.S. mainland.

Still, there are fears of a localized conflict, such as a naval skirmish in disputed Yellow Sea waters. Such naval clashes have happened three times since 1999. There's also the danger that such a clash could escalate. Seoul has vowed to hit back hard the next time it is attacked.

North Korea's threats are also worrisome because of its arsenal of short- and mid-range missiles that can hit targets in South Korea and Japan. Seoul is only a short drive from the heavily armed border separating the Koreas.

****ing hell, I feel you bro. I am also starting to get a few goosebumps up here. Damn, North Korea. It's like the Nazis have been reincarnated into North Koreans. xd ...No seriously, I can't get my head around this. I was thinking Iran would be the first to attack but it seems North Korea is almost there. As much as I know, WWIII is very near.

World War 3 prediction:

Europe
North America
some parts of South America
some parts of Africa
small parts of Asia
Australia
New Zealand

VS

Russia
North Korea
China
Iran
other parts of Africa
small parts of South America
other parts of Asia

What do you think? :dunno:

USA failed to provoke Iran into a nuclear war, and now they got a blessing from heaven with a little chubby dictator from the east.

if they do fire those rockets, we will give them a real reason to hate us.....we will wipe them out before a war with their allies can even start

They don't have any weaponry worth mentioning.

The best they could do is put one of their nukes aboard a sub and detonate the thing in the middle of Pusan's harbor districts.

That would drastically complicate reinforcement and supply line contingencies if they were to put pressure on the border in the North immediately following.
