kakashi was the one to truly showcase the sharingan, and also the first in the series to show lightning style moves. the combination of the two definately set him pretty high in the badass scale for me, then when they re-battled Zabuza, and sasuke awoke his sharingan, and naruto went wild with the kyuubi's chakra....ive been hooked to the manga/anime every since. kakashi was the original badass of konoha, then came itachi.
