Most of the people claimed that Shikamaru would still beat her without shadows but I don't see how he has a chance.

without shadows? while thats his primary form of attack im pretty sure he can still pull it off, mid-high diff. while sakura is no idiot i think it would still be fairly easy for him to outsmart her into some sort of trap.

Yeah I have to agree that Sakura wins shikamaru he's mostly dependant on his shadows, Sakura is pretty great at tai jutsu I'm not sure how good shikamaru is but still he could find a way to outsmart her but I still give this to sakura

I don't hate Sakura. Unfortunately because it's pretty sad when you have to take away someone's powers for her to beat them.

Ha! Don't be so gullable, sakura stands no chance if shikamaru has his shadows, I can even prove this. Sakura has never won a battle without help

Part one Shikamaru was useless without her. Kin wasn't fodder compared to the rest of the genin, so this is irrelevant. She did have powerful genjutsu.

Apologies she used genjutsu in the anime. Non canon Kin isn't fodder at least.

Sakura wins regardless of Shikamaru's shadows or not. Whilst I am not exactly a fan of Sakura, she has shown some good analysis feats in regards to Obito's abilities analysis, and her Taijutsu skills are tiers above Shikamaru. She wins this low difference without Shadows and high difference with Shadows.

Also, Shikamru doesn't seem to have large chakra reserves, as we saw that using it for a while depleted his reserves pretty quickly, whilst Sakura has a tremendous chakra control, which means regardless of her chakra reserve, she knows how to conserve and use it well.
