Whilst it's harsh to blame just one guy, Tobirama did cause all of the problems:

It was his attitude that caused Madara to leave the village. It's rubbish to say Madara was being over-senstive and all the other uchiha's didn't trust him either, becaues they did not know what he knew. Tobirama did not respect his brother's wishes of making madara hokage and was just massively unpleasant. It was clear to Madara that Tobirama would become the 2nd hokage and what would follow from that - and guess what... he was right.

It was Tobirama that started all the tension with the Uchiha by sticking them in a ghetto and making them the police. It was his actions that led to the Uchiha massacre.

It was Tobirama that developped edo tense... which has really worked out well for the shinobi world.

It was Tobirama that taught Hiruzen and Danzo... and clearly explains where Danzo's bad attitude comes from.

On the up side, he's not responsible for AIDS and cancer.

The story never said danzo was train by Tobirama. Only hiruzen

Fair enough, Danzo was not in team Tobirama, but he still fought directly under him. I still think Tobirama's attitude was influential in turning Danzo into an intolerant d!ck.

You can't blame Tobirama for danzo's actions. Just because danzo didn't like the Uchiha doesn't mean he picked up off Tobirama. We can't say for sure how many times danzo fought under Tobirama. But we only seen Tobirama and danzo together once. And that one time doesn't prove anything...Fact remains that Tobirama didn't train or raise Danzo as a ninja.

Atem, the point is that Tobirama is not scot-free because he detested the idea of the Uchiha's becoming relevant. Tobirama is not innocent in this plethora of problems that are currently happening. Danzo had this admiration for the second it was pretty obvious when you saw those scans. Doesn't mean they have to be in the same to have a mutual conversation about the Uchiha's. Tobirama and Danzo contrast each other perfectly. When you look at it from a different point of view it's like Tobirama planting the seeds by ostracizing the Uchiha's and Danzo finishes it by forcing Itachi to slaughter them. Is the Tobirama completely responsible? No. Does he play a big role in all of this Uchiha dominion over the world? Yes.

Oh so what you saying justify what madara is doing to the world? The lack of trust Tobirama had for the Uchiha is the cause of havoc to the world? I understand Tobirama is not innocent but 2 wrongs don't make it right. Madara is no better than Tobirama in his wrong doing. Stop trying to blame it all on one person and just look at everyone for there own mistakes or wrong doing. You can't blame Tobirama for what madara did, Because at the end of the day, as an individual, madara made his own choices, Just like danzo and Tobirama. Smh madara had a weak mind. He didn't listen to Hashirama and instead let hatred consume him. This thread is stating that Tobirama is the cause of ALL problems. That's not true. To me this thread failed.

So? Tobirama was in a fight. What would you have done if you were in a war with an opposing clan, and you were in a fight with your rival? You would probably try to kill him. Tobirama had a reason to be cautious of the Uchiha. Their eyes make them really powerfull. Madara fought for 24 hours with Hashirama, which is a big feat. If more than 1 Madara existed back then, there might not be a Senju clan. Tobirama was right in his actions, and tried protecting the village.
