just to be fair Gai is my favorite character and i think hidan would beat him....unless 8th gate is super op

Speed will outclass Hidan but physical attacks just won't work.
Possible a stalemate but sooner or later hidan will get a swing on guy.
Lets not forget Eight Gates requires chakra. Hidans immortality does not require anything but being loyal to lord jashin

1. guy decapitates with a kick before hidan can even make that retarded laugh
2. acid dissolves hidans body to nothing while tsundre does paperwork.
3. only gets interrupted if zabuza is a complete idiot, he's been shown to use several clones for trickery before. hidan doesn't have the iq to survive.
Yes he does, and it's a very long hand sign at that, Hidan can interrupt it by extending his scythe and throwing it at him.
We still don't know what 8 gated Gai is capable of but from what we've seen, Hidan would beat him.
Hidan has a 3 in the databook. Naruto has 3 in the databook.

1. Lool? are you serious there? You can't decapitate someone with a kick let alone Hidan who is the most durable character in the series. Gai doesn't have any moves that could cut off his limbs therefore he has no chance of winning.
2. Implying Hidan is just going to stand there, he is one of the most agile character in the series (he defeated Asuma while dodging shikamaru's shadow) he would evade the acid Katusuyu throws at him and take care of Tsunade.
3. Except Zabuza is vulnerable while he's casting the mist, he has to stand still, Hidan is a jackass,, he would go for the kill instead of taking precautions and easily get his blood.

Pain does not mean death. You're the fool. If I numb my entire body and then have someone with an AK blow my head I'm pretty I'd be dead.
Now care to compare that to itachi's handsigns speed? That proves my point.
Not to mention the fact that he can't do anything while he's doing this handsign, leaving him completely vulnerable to Hidan's attacks.

If your not numbed and someone shoots you in the heart your gonna fill pain and then your gonna die.
You might not sometimes have chances to feel pain because you wont have time to react as some things are just instant
