Nope, even though Kishimoto gave her the role of a medic-nin, she grew up and is nothing like her character in part 1. I watched her defend Naruto in front of Sasuke, something she'd never do in part 1. She's not that girl anymore. I will always be proud to be a fan of a character who shows human weakness, has no bloodline limit and yet managed to hold her own with all these powerful people surrounding her.

I would only be disappointed if she had a clan with special powers and was made out to be nothing.
