Did Edo Akatsuki sympathizers have full control of their bodies?

Topic. I mean like Kakuzu, Deidara and Sasori. The way they are portrayed makes it look like they were, but I thought Kabuto controlled them all.

They were in control of there bodies. Kabuto let them have their personality since their intentions were just to kill as well.

Kabuto knew they would have no problem fighting the Shinobi Alliance.. therefore he gave control of their personalities and gave slight control to there actions.

if he was in total control....we would have seen a change in their eyes or something like how he did with nagato and he started acting different and stuff.

when he was semi in control he could make them used any tech at random like he did with itachi when he was just talking to naruto and make a fire tech come out easy...hope that helps...

people forget that kabuto controlled both itachi and nagato and kabuto doesn't understand how their brains, bodies work..
so that's why itachi couldn't beat naruto and bee, if it was itachi and he was really trying to win
