What sparked Tobirama's hate?

What started Tobirama's hate for the Uchiha? My first bet would be the death of Itama but I'm not quite satisfied with that. I know a siblings death is the worst and everything but I think that Tobirama understood that it was a time of war and things like that happened all the time (unless Tobirama is more arrogant than he already seems)

I have a few wild theories but they're not worth reviewing until a few more chapters come out.

I think Kishi has to go further into Tobirama's hate, before he found out that Hashirama was interacting with an Uchiha he was actually smart and knew that the war should end no matter what but after he fought with Madara/Izuna he changed.

Could it be due to the fact that Butsuma bullied him or that he wanted Butsuma's approval so badly that he decided to be so cold hearted towards the Uchiha?

The more I think about it the more unlikely that theory seems. It's like saying you hate a person who can't help being mentally disabled.

I think his hatred is mostly based on the past rivalry of their clans.

They fought in fights for ages Tobirama knows that uchihas has Big powers and curs of hate they killed his brothers and Many of Senjus so......His hate is reasonable......

While Hashirama and Madara are shown to be opposites, it could be that Izuna and Tobirama are too. And we know that it was because of Izuna that Madara kept on fighting with Senju instead of making a truce earlier. Izuna deeply hated Senju, so Tobirama is shown as Uchiha-hater.

Or maybe he just hates Madara because he is jealous of his relationship with Hashirama. Imagine your brother separating from you, arguing with you all the time and suddenly become friends with your mortal enemy and call him his brother. Tobirama had reasons to hate Uchiha for example when Madara made Hashi choose between his life and Tobi's. And also due to the fact that Hashi even started to threaten him while protecting Madara.

I still say Tobirama never hated the Uchiha, he merely recognized as potential threats and the reason why there was always tension Madara and Tobirama is because he killed Izuna.. Madara can never forgive truly him and Tobirama can never trust Madara because he is potentially the greatest threat to the village. I wish people would stop hating on Tobirama, he did what right by the people and the village

They can't handle love properly. If they lose their love one, they become hateful then insane. The more hateful they are, the more powerful they become.

my guess is, he's hatred towards the Uchiha is like a reflection of his dads hate; so basically what I'm trying to say is, Tobirama is on his fathers side, it's just him. Idk if I'm wrong.

Would be great if Kishi continues Hokage story time with Tobirama telling his story, followed by the 3rds on the Uchiha massacre. However what sparked Tobriama's hate is quite simple: war... He just followed his dad and wasn't able to think for himself the same way Hashirama could.

He had the same beliefs as his father re. the uchiha. let's also remember that Izuna Uchiha in a similar sense did not trust the Senju either. for all we know Izuna was like an Uchiha 'anti Senju' version of Tobirama who is evidently anti Uchiha.

Tobirama hates the uchiha because he thinks that the uchiha would do anything to overthrow the senju, the more they love the more it binds into hatred and more powerful they become, tobirama was perceptive while hashirama was too naive, anyways madara shouldn't be eaves dropping its rude

but then IT WAS WAR. madara may have also seen his father killed by Senju. and we all know ALL of his brothers were murdered by Senju. the fact that Madara was still prepared to work towards peace alongside Hashirama actually means He once held the Will of Fire. it was Tobirama who brought the first war and separation within Konoah. but then... i guess these feelings are realistic, as they had all lived in a war era and would have their own thoughts and feelings.

I rate Madara and Hashirama for founding the Leaf and Konoah which began as their childhood dream of peace...
