Madara may have good intentions. In order to people achieve true happiness there should be two different forces opposing each other... Could this be him sacrificing himself in order to make the people of Konoha happy? Sacrificing his image to become the evil power? Just for the good of Konoha people?

How can two opposing forces cooperate? Not like that, as hashirama wanted, but by fighting and stuff... That way they cooperate. Madara opposing force made the 5 nations to unite!

I LOVE this theory. Seeing another Itachi style twist may be a bit lame but Kishimoto might be able to pull it off.

Some twist that results in Madara actually being the ying and Hashiramabeing the bad yang. I don't know, some sort of twist please. Madara needs more depth than just 'im evil now lol'

After all, for the first time, the 5 nations fight together and the 5 kages fought Madara as a team.

Still, if he truly wanted to do good, he wouldn't have ''killed'' the five kages.

I think he MAY have had good intentions but became truly evil somewhere along the wayy

Interesting, but implausible. He's killed way too many people and even unleashed the juubi onto the earth. Everyone was united before that. If he was really good then he would've let the kage seal him when they had the chance
