He said the act of two opposing forces cooperate true happiness can be achieved...

But then he says theres another way to interpret it he doesnt say what it is
but i think i know what he means

what he means is the opposite if
two opposing forces cannot cooperate strength will be obtained through the struggle

I think that it means that Madara and Hashirama worked out great. But then Tobirama tried to jump in and f*cked it all up! xd

Seriously though, yeah I agree.

I believe it's vaguely hinting towards the capabilities of somebody with both gifts from the Sage; the body and the eyes. The Senju and Uchiha, directly. It explains how come obtains the power necessary to handle and control the Juubi. The monster that almost destroyed the world, and was only stopped by a man with both the younger and older Son's. Madara's intent it to become the 2nd Sage, so it makes sense to me.

He did not specify what the second way was. What I think is that he knew about the rinnegan and planned on collecting Hashirama's dna. That is the reason he invited Hashirama for a duel.He intends to bring about peace through power.

Shunsui is the balls, by the way. Best character in that series, by far.

Naw what he means is he'll take both yin and yang into his own body and obtain true happiness. Basically he had already decided at this point to get Hashi's dna and turn himself in the next So6P

Maybe it's basically saying that you need an EVIL character. Notice how "evil" characters are not evil in Naruto.

Wars are fought and they don't have "the right and the wrong". It's just a matter of opinion.

Maybe it's saying that you can unite people to fight EVIL. Pure evil, and not just opinion.

It might not be Madara and Hashirama doing things together.

It's not Sasuke and Naruto being friends. It might be Sasuke vs Naruto forever.

I think the second interpretation could be what Madara did, transplant the DNA of your opposite so he could be the two forces in one body, basically do everything by himself, the first interpretation is what Naruto and Sasuke will probably do in the end, work together as if they were one through cooperation.

Most likely finding a way for the infinite tsyukuyomi, If you notice he pretty much said towards the end that this life is just a game and he'll have fun enjoying fighting him till he figures it out.

Actually I'm still not sure if what the sage is saying love is the answer true. He himself used power to bring order: and train the first of a kind ninjas. The power itself on his part was exerted to bring order to the world, but perhaps instead, love of the power should be avoided.

(1) Two opposing forces working together, happiness can be achieved.

(2) Two opposing forces becoming one (having both the body and the eyes), happiness can be created (thru Infinite Tsukiyomi).
