However, Madara was connected to the Juubi, immobilizing his fighting abilities, or at least his will to. In that instant Lee didn't beat Madara, if anything, his arrogance did that for him.

Next to that. Take a deep breath. Breath out. Breath in... Let everything slowly go from your mind, untill there's nothing left but a Edo-Madara. Then introduce a Lee, even with eight gates, even with Kyuubi chakra infused. Now let them fight. Don't forget to imagine the Flower world, don't forget the meteors, nor the Perfect Susanoo'...

Look; i am a Lee fan and you fellow OP is giving us fans a bad name. He is not in top ten; but he has certain skills to counter, and he did not defeat Madara. He is one of the best taijutsu users, what he did was impressive and he will probably have more impact on Madara; but saying "lol pawned" about Madara is not right; Madara did not gave a f**k to allience, that's why he was shocked after the impact; of course he has counters to Lee's technique.
He might be underrated; but overrating him too much is not giving us anything.

Madara did not avoid it because he rooted himself to juubi,in order to better control it.had he not done so,the juubi could have killed naruto or bee which would considerably slow down "moons eye plan".

Also how would sealing ninja avoid juubis attacks,climb up him then seal madara with obito standing right there?
