Why the Shimura clan was brought up!

After reading 625 I thought to myself, why was the Shimura clan even mentioned? We haven't seen a single member apart from Danzo and it's a fodder clan that has nothing to do with plot.

I think Kishimoto is thinking to bring back Danzo & he's going to incorporate the Shimura clan into the plot somehow.

It's a weak theory right now but give me time and I'll work on a good one, hopefully get Derp Obito to help me

Or maybe the shimura"s were a major clan that had lots of influence and hashirama simply wanted to make peace with the main clans first, kishi mentioning it isnt quite a big deal to me.

But the thought of danzo returning is pretty cool, looking forward to your future thread you plan on making.

Nah i doubt it's that but I think Tobirama had a hand in creating root on the low and the hate he has for the Uchiha was probably shared with the Shimura clan hence why Danzo was his pupils..I don't see Danzo making any kind of comeback

I see where you are coming from but if the Shimura clan are introduced I would be a tad annoyed because I think the Hyuga need more development compared to every other clan in Konoha.
