Itachi has his 3 tomoe on, stared at Kabuto the whole time and he could not react to Kabuto's blitz. On the other hand, Sasuke with his 3 tomoe could react and respond to cloak B and A at max speed. In conclusion, if 3 tomoe could react to A at max speed, but could not react to Kabuto's blitz, then it means Kabuto is faster than A. Sasuke himself is like "dafuq just happened?"​

I thought the Crow didnt fully restore itachi's power...only gave him some of his power...as the crow wasnt meant for itachi.

the crow had shihuis eye in it, and it was programmed to create a genjustsu, on the victim to protect konoha. It did not give itachi and more power, and it is assumed that kabutos edo tenseis, are close to full power.

SM Kabuto's speed is ridiculous, but A trumps him in raw speed. Also, the blitz was within Izanami, so it was never meant to fail.

EDIT The Sharingan is a weapon, it's up to the user on how it is used. MAybe Sasuke's reaction time was faster than Itachi's.
