[Theory] 8 Gates users immune to certain Genjutsu/maybe more powerful

If you think about it rashinally. In 3 gates onwards while they fight (lee and gai) they have no pupils and obviously you need your pupils to see.

Now I'm thinking since this is the caseht they must rely on alternative senses thus increasing hearing. And hightening thei ability to sense the enemy. Maybe they sense chakra or like I said they can hear the opponants movements because we have seen. Base gai really focus and close his eyes hence replying on only his sense of hearing. Since gates training relys on concertration of the mind it is plausable that just maybe they don't use the sense of sight.

They MAY be immune to some genjutsu!! (With the exception of KA,izanagi ect.) Although no proof has been provided but if we read inbetween the lines its possible. We haven't seen anyone in gates be caught with any form of genjutsu anyway but its just a thought. Plus gates speed and strength make gates pretty much overkill for some enemies

genjutsu affects all your senses sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell. if they lose their eyesight but increase their other senses then they would be easier to hit with genjutsu

im thinking they might be able to avoid genjutsu simple because they are moving far too fast. you can't cast genjutsu on something you can't see. also, genjutsu is supposed to be instant, but is it really? i mean, the user has to formulate the thought of the genjutsu before they can cast it. now im not saying gates users are faster than light, thought, or anything like that( lee is my fav), but maybe they could avoid genjutsu simple on shock alone. think about it, going into a fight, your capable and willing to use genjutsu on your enemy. but an enemy that goes gates and moves faster than your eyes can keep up, it's like they have vanished. sure you can track them through other ways, like their chakra. but initially your eye sight is the first to react on instinct.

Depends on genjutsu type i think... But gates state is making people stronger and faster; you can not easily cast a genjutsu on a person who is speed blitzing and fighting in a huge amount of strength, there are probably not so much people who can cast a genjutsu when a hirudora is coming at him/her.

Depends on genjutsu type i think... But gates state is making people stronger and faster; you can not easily cast a genjutsu on a person who is speed blitzing and fighting in a huge amount of strength, there are probably not so much people who can cast a genjutsu when a hirudora is coming at him/her.

im with you on this one. im pretty sure the opponent is more worry about their physical health as they are getting blasted from all over, than casting a genjutsu. they would be more likely to endure, or attempt to avoid a gates user, than to attempt a genjutsu. logically i personally think it's stupid.

That's if they catch sight of your eyes, they have to mess up your eye sight first, the only jutsu known to do whur saying is izanagi,izanami and KA

as far as itachi and kakashi casting it, if they can cast it, it would be hit in miss. again, gai/ any gates user can and would be moving far too fast for that. itachi/kakashi would have to get them to stand still, which would defeat the purpose of being in gates would it not?

Exactly, so in my perspective I don't see many guys catching someone in gates with gen and certain ninjutsu
