Yea, that's what kishi does inorder to not make the past shinobi forgotten and how the shinobi world became what it is.

So I believe the only way for naruto to meet the so6p himself is via the juubi somehow either during the juubi's final moments or when the fox(ie naruto) is in mortal danger.

The connection between the fox, juubi and the so6p is apparent now. and to a lesser extend naruto seems to have some relation to the so6p ideals passed on via jiraiya.

IMO this is the reason so6p made it so that anyone capable of persuading/manhandling kurama would get some of his chakra (or looks.. we dont know yet..) too just so he would resemble him so much they would trust him to take care of the other tailed beasts.,...

It is my suspicion that: Rikudou Sennin sealed a portion of his chakra inside Kurama so that he could meet his successor one day: Naruto Uzumaki, and that Rikudou will be the character who will reveal the true history behind The Juubi, The Uzumakis and the details regarding his sons: the Uchiha and Senju Ancestor.

It is also possible that Rikudou also left his essence with the other Bijuus because he foresaw all of them united by one person: Naruto.

I think you are right and wrong about the bolded thing.

Let me explain, yes he left his essence just like Minato in Kurama BUT, i Believe it's like an "key"

His essence will apear and only then when all 9 Bijuus are united into 1 Host.

When that happens and probably some more will need to be done Rikudou will apear and explain the history and facts off everything.

So when Naruto becomes a host of the 10 tailed then we will see him.

This also implies that Sasuke is gona be so overpowered lol since Sasuke/Naruto are always evenly matched.

to be honest i dont think he will meet naruto... i think his job is done, there is no reason for him to return... all the info naruto needs was most likely passed down too the tailed beasts.

your theory does make for a more exciting story though and most likely will happen even though we have seen he was just a mortal and minato's/kushina's chakra surviving that long in naruto's seal was seen as a feat...
