Sound 4 against any single Akatsuki member?

As I am rewatching all the anime I can't help but think the Sound 4, including cursed seals or not, were very powerful. I mean Oro and Kabuto did pick them to fight to the death amongst many other ninja's just to be chosen. So as I am watching Kisame take on team guy (Neji and Lee) I wondered how the sound 4 would hold up against Kisame, although he would be there worst match up I imagine.

What about the others though? Obviously Pein, and Itachi most likely. Others?

They might take hidan. That's about it. Maybe zetsu. Honestly, they're fodder.

Tayuya is their only decent member, and her flute can be taken out easily by most members.

Now make it the Sound 5 with healthy Kimimaro and we could have a different story.

If they were given time to develop more they would be able to beat a few.. not sure which ones though. I think Deidara? The only one that was really worth anything was Kimimaro, back when it was the Sound 5 and he wasn't ill. I bet they could have at least held a decent fight though.. but would end up losing I think.

They're not even jonin level man. It took 4 of them with their cursed 2 level to take on 2 konoha low jonin (weakened). the most they could probably incapacitate hidan. Kakuzu would destroy them. The deva path would solo them. Zetsu is not really a fighter type so they would beat him. Sasori would solo. Deidara would solo them. Kisame would destroy them. Itachi would solo them. Orochimaru (ex akatsuki) would destroy them. Tobi would destroy them. Konan would probably defeat them.

tayuya and kimmimaro had the most potential out of the sound 5 its a shame really can you imagine how strong tayuya genjutsu would have become if she was developed more case n point look at snake sage mode kabuto when he used her technique but on a much stronger scale DAM YOU KISHI FOR KILLING OFF CHARACTERS WITH EPIC POTENTIAL!

evey akatsuki asides zetsu and hidan would solo
kakuzu :has five hearts, he fought against kakashi and a grown team 10,healthy kakuzu would whoop ass
deidara,: c4 karura's just badass, it takes a sharingan,probably a byakugan to see through that justu, he still has more advatages like he's fighting on air, so evading kidomaro's arrows would be cake.

sasoribviously (iron sand is lethal, added to that are a hundred puppets, jirobo and sakon would have gone down with hiruko, tayuya, with third kazekage and kidomaru might live to see 100puppets)
kisame: if he gets them in that water bubble thats it, besides team taka can take down the sound four(i.e juugo,suigetsu,sasuke,karin), killer-bee took down team taka, kisame took down killer bee)
konan(while spamming 1000000000 paper bombs, she would win but with very high dif)
tobi: OBVIOUSLY

Yeah I guess you are all right. I'm probably overrating their unique abilities, number advantage, and the cursed marks, along with underrating all the naturally gifted killing machines that make up the Akatsuki. But if I remember correctly they did beat 2 Jonin level opponents, not saying much compared to clan killers.
