well think about how its going to tie into the story if im right when naruto finally gives up on sasuke he is going to go in to that mode which would give him perfect saga AKA fisrt hokage saga mode AKA sage of six path body and everybody knows sasuke is getting the sage eyes, the whole goal if you think about it is to be like the sage of six paths, that why naruto's tail beast mode looks JUS like the sage,there trying to turn the main character into the next saga of six paths
