i agree, the SO6P will be back, i mean the juubi can't be killed and someone will have to clean up after the fighting is over. so what is he going to do or how is he going to deal with this juubi ?? no idea ..... but he is the only one with the knowledge and skill to deal with this situation (he separated a full juubi and created nine living beings from it ..... you know what i mean). i like the way you explained how he will be back (sealing some of his chakra in kurama) witch is very possible but i like to think that this dude can simply appear out of no where lol he is the god damn SO6P after all .....

Great theory! It's very plausible the Sage will make an appearance and speak to Naruto. It feels like it should happen.

But one question:

Since you theorize that he sealed his chakra specifically into Kurama, then that would imply that his successor was destined to be the Kyuubi jinchuriki? The odds weren't very high that his successor would get Kurama. Maybe he sealed some chakra into each tailed beast? Or maybe destiny just chose Naruto because he happened to become the jinchuriki of the 9tails, which had the chakra.

When the sage gave his little speech, he looked at Kurama when he said... "When the time comes... For you to know what true power is."

So I guess he knew the successor would get Kurama. Plus he must've seen who the successor will be because he prophecized it.

However I think that Rikudo sealed his chakra not only in Kurama but in all the tailed beasts and that's the same chakra[power] that the bijjus gave to Naruto

I like this after thinking thur it would be unfair for Kurama to get all the attention from the sage and it makes sense after watching the other tailed beast give Naruto some of their chakara

I respect your theory but from the moment that all bijuu's said naruto is the one , and rikudou said the time to learn true power + the fact that naruto got some bijuu chakra and we still don't know how rikudou looks.....or his name....

Oh god no. Why wouldn't he seal his chakra in all the bijuu, so they didn't come across as huge masses of evil.

Tailed beast aren't evil its just they spend most of there lives sealed inside someone and used as weapons.

Based on Tsunade and Raikage's statements, we can infer that the jutsu Minato used to seal his and Kushina's chakra inside Naruto that enabled them to meet Naruto again was of Uzumaki origin.

This coincides with Kushina's statement that it was she who taught Minato the sealing techniques he used (Chakra sealing, Shiki Fuujin, Altar of Sealing,etc.) which are Uzumaki Fuuinjutsu.

If we work on the premise that the Uzumaki sealing techs originated from Rikudou Sennin:

After all of the above revelations, the only thing left for us readers to learn is the history of Rikudou Sennin vs Juubi and possibly the details concerning The Senju and Uchiha Ancestor.

It is my suspicion that: Rikudou Sennin sealed a portion of his chakra inside Kurama so that he could meet his successor one day: Naruto Uzumaki, and that Rikudou will be the character who will reveal the true history behind The Juubi, The Uzumakis and the details regarding his sons: the Uchiha and Senju Ancestor.

It is also possible that Rikudou also left his essence with the other Bijuus because he foresaw all of them united by one person: Naruto.

I whole-heartedly agree! It's the only major secret of the series that has yet to be revealed. It's only natural that Naruto meet his predecessor.

I'm sure Sasuke could very well find out too "if" he gets the Rinnegan to read the rest of what's on the Rikudou Sennin's tablet.
