[Discussion] No SH will get the damn fruit!

Firstly, this must be the last thread regarding the mera-mera no mi.

Why should it be the last? There's already an official thread regarding it.

Now why won't they? Simple.
Mugi won't consume it since Goda has stated in an SBS that he will forever and always be the protaganist who has the most ridiculous power and will stay a rubberman.

O: Ahaha, that is true. It must seem like a mystery when you consider all the other strong and cool abilities. The answer is simple. I have picked the most ridiculous ability. If the protagonist were the typical strong guy, I doubt I could continue on with this for long. No matter how serious the story gets, Luffy is there to stretch and inflate. He always give me a chance to fool around. That's the kind of manga I wanted to write.

So if Goda gives him this ability, he'll be as worse as Hiro, Kubo and even Kishi.

And why won't any of the SH's get them? Because this would make the TS pointless. They decided to train themselves so that the SA incident won't happen again. And they have trained! Trained their fighting style.So it would be such bad writing if any of them got it. Even the weakest member(not going to say a name since many disagree).

Well I've explained why the SH's won't get it. But as for the tenth member. It would be strange if they have it since there's better options available.

you said no straw hat will get it but if the tenth member gets in the the straw hats will have it also as i said oda shows that he doesnt wanna make the straw hats traditional op fighters but logia in the new world is no longer op and the new user wont be as proficient with it as acre right away either

Yes that may be true but those two years will be pointless if they just attained this power. There's no way it will benefit there fighting style. Even if Sanji were to get it, using his heart to ignite his leg will just be nullified due to the fruit.

why does sanji have to get it tbh im not saying the straw hats will get it but your provide no real proof to say they wont at the same time

you do indeed provide a logical point on why luffy wont get it that i cannot disagree with but the rest of the straw hats are a maybe ( well the one without a df anyway) or as i said maybe the tenth member will get it

That's why I think either Sabo will consume eat or Mugi will destroy it. Why will he destroy it? It'll be great character development on his behalf. How? If he destroys it, it implies that he doesn't need a fruitlet alone Ace's fruit to remember him. He is in his heart and soul and doesn't need the actual thing to prove he cares for him. Alot of people argue that Mugi hasn't developed as much as he should being the protagonist so with him destroying the fruit, it will truly show his development as a main protagonist. But I don't know how he'll destroy it, Goda can definitely think of something .
