I agree he is underrated, and I would probably put him in top 10 of part 1 characters. The reason he lost to Kakashi is because it was a bad match up. As soon as Zabuza gets his mist up, unless you can smell him, sense him, or somehow clear the mist; you're going to have trouble.

Anyone that's not mainly talked about (i.e. Naruto, Sasuke, Hashirama, Obito, Kakashi, Madara, Nagato, etc.) are underrated. All the Akatsuki for example are underrated as they clearly defeated for plot purposes.

But yes, Zabuza was extremely underrated.

I was expecting Shino...I kind of feel like Bee is underrated, and maybe (to a lesser degree) the 3rd Raikage. I think the 3rd Raikage is better than Muu/Trollkage who people always put above him

the seven swordsmen were underated on a character standpoint...
kishi built them up to be important at one point to look forward to..
then they did nothing...their battles should have been movie worthy.....it wasn't ........now its back to filler / canon on and off over and over its ridiculous the anime took a non organized turn in the war

Actually, another underated character could be Sasori and Deidara. I hardly ever see them in top 10s and 20s. I put Sasori in my top 10 and Deidara in my top 15.

I dont underate him but i feel people over rate his abilities just a bit

but the man solo's the third kazekage who was the strongest of the kazekage

If you don't count the people I tied, that's already 13 people. Then think of the current Gokage, Kakashi, Gai, Hiruzen, and many of the Akatsuki. He'd be lucky if he got into Top 25, which is unlikely.
