Byakugans formation come from (this is just my theory) a member defected from the ancient uchiha clan and he formed the Hyuga clan

but byakugan is so diluted it cant evolve like sharingan can

but if its not broke dont fix it

but sharingan does not evolve into the ancestors eye

does exactly help the theory i state but i just reverses the roles of the original clan and the one the defector formed
