Hey NB! Basically every thread that I see regarding the future Kage look something like this: Naruto, Gaara, Kitsuchi, Darui, and for Kirikagure they say "No one is strong enough"
I'm here to prove you otherwise. Chojuro seems to be around the same age as Naruto, perhaps even younger because Suigetsu referred to him as a kid. Now for a "kid" to be faced with the responsibility of guarding the Mizukage is incredible. At this moment, it is possible he is the strongest in Kiri other than Mei Terumi.
He has speed fast enough to catch Zetsu, Naruto, Mei, and Genma by surprise. Perhaps this scan is foreshadowing Chojuro's future strength by Naruto's statement "That guy's pretty good". Kishi tends not to waste panel time if It's not significant. He could have easily made Naruto do a rasengan or Mei melt him with Boil Release. Also, we've seen if he really wants to protect something (In this case Mei Terumi) He'll protect it at all costs.
Imagine that will protecting the village if Kirikagure. All the shinobi of Kiri seem to trust Chojuro in protecting Mizukage, why wouldn't they trust him in protecting them:
He has also shown the ability to think quick in battle. His Hiramekarei is far from weak, It was able to send Sasuke's Susano'o flying through a wall with only one swing. After all it is one of the seven swords of the mist, and Chojuro seems to be able to use it to it's full potential:
He also seems to have a lot of battle experience, despite his young age.
"Put him and that blade together, and you have a human who is able to wield every bit as much power as a jinchūriki… effectively a tailed beast without a tail." Chojuro has obviously been in battle with, or at least witnessed Kisame's power. Yet Chojuro was able to be on the same team as Kisame without dying :snick:
Also, because he wields the Hiramekarei, he had to have gotten these guy's attention on the past:

Conclusion: I believe Kishi has foreshadowed us Chojuro's potential status as Mizukage by giving us these subtle hints, and I hope you enjoyed my prediction!

I'm not really a fan of Choujuro, he just doesn't seem like a hardcore Nin D: but yeah, anything can happen! ^^
