Kisame absorbs any attack Deidara throws at him, meaning the microscopic bombs as well. If you don't believe this Samehada is able to sense any incoming chakra, thus when Kisame notices that there is incoming deadly chakra coming his way he would simply put up that huge Water Prison, and drown the bombs.

Actually I was under the assumption that Kisame was quite a bit stronger than Deidara. Sorry, this isn't something that the Base seems to agree on.

I disagree. Kisame trumps Deidara in every way. His level of Suiton is able to alter the entire terrain to his advantage. Deidara requires pre-meditated underground bombs to be able to fight on a level with Kisame.

EDIT: Actually, despite my belief of Kisame defeating Deidara, I'm going to look into it more out of curiosity and potential game-changer.
