She saved Sasuke's worthless ass twice.

Karin is one of the reasons why Sasuke isn't dead, so she is not useless.
Ten-Ten now controls one of the Sages treasured tools, and spawned a10,000 kunais on the beach that killed at least 300 Zetsu's, she is not useless.

Even the Ramen guy drops jewels on Naruto when he hasn't seen him in a while. Bottom line is, everyone in Naruto plays a role big or small they all play a role in the story.

None of them are useless. Come on, you have to admit it. All characters have a role in something. If someone says Sakura, that is incorrect because she protected Naruto and Sasuke in Part 1 and without her they would be dead and the story would be over. Tenten isn't useless, she beat one of Kakuzu's hearts and inspired Lee to be as strong as he is now which inspired Naruto. Yamato useless? Helped capture Kisame.. Who could have killed many people in the war by now.

I couldn't agree more, you are very correct. Yamato has done many things like calm the 9 tails when Naruto couldn't handle it, Tenten has always been an inspiration and a good support ninja and Sakura defeated Sasori, saved many people from dying and like you said, saved Sasuke and Naruto in part 1!

Tenten is actually a fine example of uselessness, she has done literally nothing throughout the series, she couldn't be any more useless. Moegi is also an useless character.
