Who do you think is stronger between Super Vegito or Super Gogeta (No Super Saiyan 4 included)

Feats

Gogeta defeated Super Janemba,(who owned SSJ3 Goku and SSJ2 Vegeta) in seconds and took no damage from his attack, and a couple kicks from Gogeta severly injured Janemba then he finished him with a stardust breaker.
Vegito toyed around with Super Buu Gohan Absorbed and even in Candy form was able to still damage, Vegito wasn't even trying and he completely dominated the fight with no real efforts even fighting with his arms crossed.

Power

Vegito:

Vegito was able to transform into a Super Saiyan, calling himself Super Vegito in this form. In the manga, he transformed right away. Once he transformed into a Super Saiyan, he became truly unstoppable as his powers soared to unimaginable heights. As a Super Saiyan, he absolutely dominated Super Buu (Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Piccolo Absorbed). After his transformation, he gained a slight increase in muscle mass, bluish-green eyes, very defined golden hair and eyebrows and a golden aura (with occasional surges of blue electricity). Vegito called himself in this new form "Super Vegito" (or "Super Vegerot" in the English manga). Super Vegito appeared to be well beyond Buu's abilities to defeat. He hardly exerted himself in battle (only fighting seriously for a brief moment to stop Super Buu from tearing Earth and the nearby planets apart), and was in absolute control of the fight, even telling Buu to "make [him] use his real power". Vegito is undeniably the most powerful character in the whole of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, as well as in the Dragon Ball manga, possessing the enormous power of Goku and Vegeta multiplied by several folds. It is implied by Old Kai that Vegito could have destroyed Kid Buu with little effort as he did with Super Buu (w/ Gohan absorbed).

Gogeta:

A 2004 V-Jump announcing his appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 states that Super Gogeta's power level is around 2,500,000,000; this makes Super Gogeta's power level the highest ever officially stated. He possessed such great power that he was able to easily overwhelm a foe as powerful as Super Janemba. Even though Janemba easily took care of Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta, he was unable to even hurt Gogeta at all (a full-force punch from Janemba to Gogeta's face did not do anything). In a matter of seconds, Gogeta was able to destroy Janemba without any problem whatsoever. Even while at this lowest-level stage, he is still many times stronger than Goku at Super Saiyan 3, and Vegeta at Super Saiyan 2.

Vegito wins because of the time limit. They are both equal in absolutely ever way, except that Vegito is permanent. So victory goes to Vegito after the time limit (which shortens when SS level goes up). If you think about this there is two version of Gogeta. This is because there is base form or just simple SS Gogeta (when both fuse in base form) then there is Vegta and Kakarot fusing in a SS form which is stronger and may be SS3 Gogeta.
Also, the Elders Kai's line about the Potara being "better". He said it was better because it was permanent and it wouldn't time out like the fusion dance. Thus longer equals better in this context.

BUT, Gogeta takes shit seriously and Vegito doesn't. So it's a matter of bloodlust and if they both are, then Vegito ultimately takes it.

Good point. But, perhaps Vegeta's ego will come into play and allow Vegito to go SS4 so they can fight at maximum potential.

nowhere is this ever stated. potara gives the exact same boost as fusion dance, it just does it in a more efficient way such as not needing to equalise your power levels and not needing a stupid dance
