How did sasuke copy lees speed?

I thought lee was just physically stronger, which made him faster. how did sasuke copy that with the sharingan? Was lee actually not any stronger the sasuke and it was just the way he moved around that let him go so fast? But those leg weights seemed to imply otherwise...

I believe Sasuke copied more of Lee's movements. When you copy someone else's technique or way of doing something, you're half-way there. All Sasuke had to do after that was push his body to the limits and train to increase his own speed to be on par with Lee's speeds. And obviously, he trained even more after Part I since we saw how fast he was when he encountered Team Kakashi for the first time.

Sasuke just copied the moves, he was not as fast.

Also, when you imagine your body moving, the muscle fibres do actually respond and learn something from it. Sharingan is like that X1000....but he still didn't have the physical skills to match his real speed...eg: without the weights

Sasuke is fast. Very fast. Maybe not as fast as Lee, but still fast enough for Gaara.

Obviously he knew how to train Sasuke in Lee's style. He also saw Lee's moves so he can copy them and Sasuke simply copied kakashi.

Yes sasuke "used to" use speed and strategies to fight his opponents. Now he simply just freakin spam MS and susanoo and forgot about speed. >_<

he didn't copy his speed he copied some of his moves, next sense hes a genius and from the uchiha clan he was able to reach lee speed in only a month while it took lee a full year
