We already knew that kurama chakra (ying and yang) was separated by Minato in the past.

Naruto have one portion of kurama chakra (yang),while Minato have the other portion of the chakra(ying).If edo Minato give sasuke kurama ying chakra to sasuke to amplify his sharing an power inorder to fight the madara during the war then the fusion of sasuke and naruto will be needed to fighAt The juubi. The sage of the six path had both ying and yang chakra in the past and this help him to seal the jubi in the moon .How will Naruto and sasuke fuse? Kurama can try to become it original form by fusing it ying chakra in sasuke and the yang chakra in naruto to one form.
I know people will disagree with this statement because only the uzamaki could be the host of kurama but elder son and the younger son had the same father (so6p) which mean they had the same bloodline inherited from their father.Kishimoto is a Dbz fan and he will use this concept to fuse naruto and sasuke into one form which kurama chakra .
