Hmm the only way I can see Minato standing a chance in this scenario is if Gamabunta is able to dilute the water in the immediate area enough with oil that suigetsu will die. Kind of like BP's oil spill a few years back. I wouldn't necessarily even argue that Minato could summon Ma and Pa as the databook entry says "the toads one is able to summon depends on his/her abilities" And the toads knowing Minato is not the same as saying they were his summons. After all the Sage Toad knew Jiraiya and Minato but whether they can summon him is doubtful.

Minato can summon any Toad. there is a scan somewhere i will not bother trying to find it...you dont need sage mode to summon them ...just a contract with any toad then that gives you access to all the toads...

I say Suigetsu stomps since he can fuse with the ocean and then nothing Minato can do will be effective. Minato will end up getting drowned and his kunais will just sink in the ocean.

Well I think Suigetsu must have a limit but that combination attack can be avoided if Suigetsu goes underwater.

You also fail to realize that water has a high heat capacity so it is unrealistic to assume that fire can simply vaporize water while Suigetsu has access to a plethora amount of water. Not to mention that water has a high boiling point. As a matter of fact, water has a much higher heat capacity compared to metal and I doubt that katon can melt metal. Of course if you say it can, the people backing Minato in the 3 tomoe Madara VS Minato thread would lose their major point considering Madara's katons are far hotter than the combination one.

If its in the database books, then its tru, ma or pa will be summoned, also, minato wouldnt need his ftg kunai, he can still mark the water with his hands, because shinobi can stand on water. Also, minato is wayyyyy smarter than suigetsu, and gamabunta can trap suigetsu in his mouth, then minao rasengans the shit out of him in there, minato wins mid diff because of ocean

lets say the battle isn't in the ocean, is there a way for Minato to even hurt Suigetsu? he doesn't know lightning, and he doesn't know a jutsu that does lots of damage to make Suigetsu stay in jello form. on the other hand there is no way suigetsu can hurt Minato if the battle isn't in the ocean.

attack right here is tiers above what you are suggesting and it managed to disable Suigetsu but since the fire and oil combination attack is a lot weaker, it won't do much. Any water that melts is quickly regained because Suigetsu has an entire ocean worth of it to absorb.

You do realize that Suigetsu can just go underwater to evade the attack right? The suiton that Kabuto used against Sasuke wasn't extinguished. You do have a point about the water wall that all those fodders used since it was all extinguished. I guess real life physics don't apply to manga logic. However, maybe the flames that Madara used were hotter than those of Jiraiya's since Uchiha have powerful chakra. Not saying Jiraiya has a lower amount since he does have a lot more than most Uchiha but the quality of it isn't so powerful so his katons might be big but not as hot. Anyway how would Ma's flame be anywhere near the size of the one Jiraiya used?

Gamayu endan has a huge area of effect but it didn't do much meaningful damage to either Orochimaru, Manda or the battlefield. For this reason, I believe that attack is very widespread but it isn't very concentrated so it can be tanked and Suigetsu can just intake any water he loses as a result of the fire attack.

Also what you are suggesting seems out of character for Minato to do. What makes you think he'll think about doing exactly this?
