This is a very good question indeed, if someone carefully and thoroughly inspect every element and capabilities that sakura got at that point of time, it was an act of emotional rather than logic, it was a preliminary evaluation of Sakura's character which mainly act on her instinct/nerve/emo regardless no matter how danger that situation was.

I said the chidori was the armor piercing attack. The rasengan IS comparable to TBB seeing how it's based off of it.

What was she thinking? her screaming can't stop naruto's forward momentum and sasuke getting pulled down by gravity.
