What Level is Chouji on?

Like I said, it would have to depend on how long he can hold that form. If he could go a half hour or hours, I'd call him low kage level. If he could only hold it under a half hour or so, I'd call him elite Jounin.

He couldn't defeat any of the kages even if he was permanently a butterfly. how could he be kage level?

Neji is very quick and precise.Air Palm keeps choji at long distance.Palm rotation to keep him away.

I'm not sure how well palm rotation would work on a super punch in butterfly mode... plus as seen in the chunin exams with palm rotation naruto's attack of simply charging at him was enough to blow them both back... I think Chouji could break through it

Power-wise Elite ninja, however Chouji is not someone who thinks about strategy, he needs Shikamaru to make his power work.

I agree it is used lightly but let's at least say this... If chouji had immense battle smarts, could strategize well, and find opponents weaknesses better... along with butterfly mode I would say he would be between sennin rank and kage rank

I'm sorry but Choji is not Kage level. Picture any of the known Kages, present or past, and think of Choji soloing any of them. I don't think it's possible. He's tough but not Kage level.

I guess what I meant to say is that since he is still only 16... he can become much smarter very quickly... now its highly doubtful, but if he did he would be one of the leafs greatest shinobi

Well yea. He has all the potential on the world. Especially since he finally broke out of his crybaby stage and can actually be a shinobi without his kindness and sensitivity getting in the way.

First of all that isn't canon so it didn't actually happen, second choji could have done that with one punch
