I read the threads about Tobirama using a Flying Thunder God Slash. A lot of you believe it was just a slash forward that cut Izuna but your forgetting that Madara stated that Izuna died from his wound and gave Madara his MS. If Izuna possessed MS during the battle with Tobirama, he would have predicted Tobirama's slash and avoided it. But, if Tobirama used s/t jutsu( FTG slash) then he was moving to fast to predict and dodge. Izuna was stated to have had MS with Madara ( same time) so it's safe to say he had MS if they showed Madara with EMS.

If it was a S/T jutsu then we can assume that maybe flying thunder god is connected to water jutsus, because tobirama is a specialist in water moves. Thus, giving us insight that Minato maybe a water user as well. (This is just an assumption)

No doubt it was s/t jutsu because Izuna would have read the slash movement with his Sharingan and dodged but even he was suprised

The Sharingan can predict movements as we saw Sasuke do against Lee and Orochimaru in the first part of the series before the Chuunin exams. So Izuna was able to predict his movements, he was just too slow to get out of the way. Just as Sasuke could see predict Lee's movements but was too slow to dodge. You dont need MS to predict movements.

I agree.

First of all, I hate NB translations, they always prove to be wrong. I dont think Tobirama used FTG but I do think he MAY have used a S/T technique. But Izuna had MS at this time, he may have started to go blind during battle. Or the attack could have been too fast to react. But he probably did combine that slash with a S/T move.

i concur.....

I do believe that he increased his speed ( note:all the lines behind him in the manga) and To 9th Raikage: i didn't say he needed MS to predict movement. I said he had MS because Madara returned with EMS and claimed that Izuna gave him eyes
