Jutsu battle: Yata vs Totsuka

Who wins thru the confrontation of these 2items? Could Yata protect effectively against totsuka or totsuka could pass thru yata?

Like i've said in the other thread, what do you mean by "tie"? There can't be a tie. Either the yata blocks the attack or totsuka go thru yata. If after the attack nothing happens, then it's yata who won since it successfully protected against totsuka

Yata wins. Easy. Totsuka has never been stated to pierce everything, just that it seals whatever it pierces. Yata mirror, however, has been stated to defend against any attack. It is NOT a paradox.

It's not stated that Totsuka can cut/pierce through anything and everything, yet the Yata Mirror is capable of blocking physical and spiritual attacks.
