The manga is just messed up. Kishimoto is a horrible writer. Nothing in this manga makes sense to me. From reviving the dead to deciding fate, to a main character who is more emotional than a drunk pregnant woman and all he whines about is another guy.
The power distribution in the manga is just horrible. I mean so far we've seen how amazing the Uchiha are, and only recently we've seen some competition from a Clan that's long dead or deak in Kishimoto's book.
