[Discussion] Tobirama and his Space-Time Jutsu...?

What do you make of it?
Do you think it'll be a pivotal component of his battle style like Obito and Minato? Or simply a unique tech in his textbook?
Do you think it'll be similar to Minatos or Obitos or something completely new?
Would it be, in your oppinion a KKG or something anybody could learn?

It's clear he's the "founder", so to speak of the flying thunder god, but Minato being a master at reverse engineering, most likely improved it. To be honest, whoever's jumping to the conclusion of Tobirama having the better S/T is stupid, we didn't even see it's full extent. All we saw was him stabbing Izuna and saying "thunder god slash", we don't even know how it works yet, HOW he actually teleported. I say we wait.

This exactly. The Kage have a scroll somewhere and they keep it and write important things in there. (btw Kages made a great theory about this) Tobirama most likely wrote down this technique and Minato started using it. He made it better than his former, most likely because his lack of other techniques.

his space time jutsu is his Edo Tensei. Summonings are considered space-time jutsus, so Edo Tensei is also categorized under same group of jutsu, thus including tobirama to have time-space hand seals/abilitiy

Too much masterbation over Uchihas makes you blind, just like how they use the MS. Stop fapping over Itachi already.

We shall see yet, all we got was Tobimara stabbing in a linear fashion, not much to go on.

i Think we all shouldn't rush to call that a S/t jutsu, his movement was exactly the same to that of Mifune's quick slashes...
A space time ability involves no movement... it's instant appearance from one spot to another.. there is no velocity what so ever.. thus when a ninja like minato uses his s/t ability, his kunai thrust is mostly linear, whether up/down/left/right..

Tobirama's had a forward thrust, meaning there was a velocity with it.... Which makes that attack more similar to mifune's , or movement related..


This , coupled with the fact that Kakashi said, Tobi's s/t ability was the first he's ever seen that didn't involve seals.... I saw no seals anywhere around izuna or on the floor where tobirama was at the end of the attack..

all of these things lead me to believe it wasn't s/t related..

Exactly! I don't think there should be any inference on Tobirama's space-time technique yet. The scan of him stabbing Izuna showed nothing, all we really know is that he stabbed Izuna and said some words. Hopefully people stop trying to compare his S/T to Minato's or Obito's, it's extremely futile.

You sir, are simply stunning. Refer back to when Minato fought Tobi. He says, "I cannot believe his S/T Jutsu surpassed mine and the 2nd's.." he was not talking about summoning. This was when Obito was Kamuing, and Minato was FTG'ing. Use common sense, but I like how you know Summoning Jutsu is infact S/T. Props

2. Is Tobirama that fast that even a sharingan can't predict this movement?

If it is really a simple sword slash then how come an MS user who has the ability to predict movements was not able to see that coming?

Since nearing the end of his life they were suffering from the light loss...and we know blindness affects combat and seeing things... eg, MS Itachi couldn't dodge sasuke's shruiken properly because of sight.. which caused zetsu to note that something was wrong...

You can look at that scan, and see the way tobirama is holding his sword, it was in a thrusting fasion... it couldn't be a space time, and a thrust needs velocity to slice... Space time is instant appearing.. no velocity in the attack...

well, it could be a very fast blitz attack but we cannot really assume that he's almost blind at that time. I believe that it was madara who got blind and not Izuna because blindness is the price one must pay to control the kyuubi.

They unlocked Ms at the same time, Madara went fully blind first, but izuna would also be suffering as well
