The latest chapter showed Tobirama pwning Izuna in a move that appears to be similar to FTG. If that indeed was FTG then that shows that FTG is capable of defeating MS users, and if it weren't FTG then all the more reason to believe that FTG is capable of taking out even MS level shinobi. With all the OP attacks that are being shown people forgot that swords can still kill.

He still can't handle Itachi though.

Edit: It appears that Izuna was blind. This changes a lot of things. Still FTG shouldn't be underestimated.

And not to mention the section where it said pretty clearly that madara's personality shifted dramatically after that time, when the unchiha we're defecting, and he also acquired the ems.

The chronology is pretty clear, At best losing to tobirama helped izuna unlock the ms later. But in all likelihood, actually almost certainly tobirama beat ms izuna.

Oh if that's true then I take this back . I remember them saying that Izuna fought when he was blind but for some reason I thought that this was retconned in the latest chapter.

Kishimoto has never accepted fillers because they're not Canon, otherwise he would have mentioned the fact that Naruto knew Utakata.

Besides, he used in a normal Katana in the manga chapter, the Sword of the Thunder God was more rounded and lightning, not metal.

As for the blindness, it depends what you consider blind, Sasuke and Itachi were considered blind when there MS' had neared the end of their lifespan, but both could still fight.

It never was, if anything Madara was closer to losing his vision due to using his MS too much....after that it is unclear whether he took Izuna´s eyes by force(in a desperate attempt to gain power) or if Izuna offered them willingly(knowing he was going to die due to his injuries).

Naruto even if he knew Utakata he is so dense and idiot he can't even remember him and we have seen this happen with Shino many times. Naruto is slow to these things like knowing people and their names.
