I don't recall reading that, but even if it is true, then they can't just stop fighting because it's not up to them but the leaders.

Last chapter was all views of Hashirama and Madara but todays chapter would have been far better if we have had little bit more of fighting instead of TNJ.

But Hashirama rules no doubt about that ........ He is the real deal he made EMS madara look like a kid and Tobirama like nothing hehehe

Lol. This just shows that people are too different. If I was madara I wouldn't know if I'd be able to lay aside my grudge either, it's just a matter of perspective. You can't USE hashirama as an example because the world ISN'T like him. People started defecting to the senju after they LOST, and it's interesting that POWER sometimes paved the way to peace not LOVE. POWER and LOVE are necessary sometimes ans the Senju aren't all goody goody either. They have their share of blood on their hands.

They both became leaders of their clan before the battle that killed Izuna. Had Madara actually sought peace rather than destruction then that conflict wouldn't have been necessary.

I'm not comparing the two strength wise.... So fanboys pls don't get all excited.... Hashi and Itachi are much alike.... Cause they both knew that trying to get revenge and thinking and acting for their own personal gains and losses would result in more wars.... So one choose to forgive his enemies for personal losses and form an Alliance with them to have peace and the other lost everthing in his own life to stop his own people from disrupting peace....
It's not that Uchiha aren't sensible.... I think Kishi is trying to put up a message that only the people who can get over their own losses can stand out and make a good world....

I may not deserve rep, but you must agree with my points. I just got over agressive, because I couldn´t believe what people are saying. Obviously none of these people are leaders. Not only do they need to be able to see past their own pain, as people, in order to move forward, but they are leaders, leaders must not let personal grudges get in the way of decissions that will greater benefit their people.

But more specifically Madara was upset that Hashirama's father tried to kill Izuna when his father tried to do the exact same thing to Tobirama. Which seems like a crap reason to get angry if Hashirama can control himself.

The uchiha's are too emotion for sure, but I think clan loyalty is another issue we have to look at as well. Uchiha's back then looked like they were insanely clan loyal.
