Huh. This may be the first NarutoBase thread that actually brought out some sort of emotion in me. (The sad violin thing helps).

Sorry for your loss, man. It's never easy losing a pet.

I sadly know how it feels. My dog passed away when I was 8. We got the little pup when I was a newborn. He basically grew up with me. I considered him my best friend. I didn't know how to feel when I found him dead. Just knowing that you can't ever get them back is a terrible feeling. Now people might say oh its just a dog, but anyone or anything can mean the entire world to you. Just remember the times you shared, and how great the dog had an impact on your life. Have a nice day

This is completely unrelated to NB stuff, but I just had to put my dog Fenway down. She was 12 years old, a yellow lab. The best dog I ever had.

I don't know why I'm posting this, but I feel like I just needed to tell someone. My heart has been shattered.

Please share if you have any advice or sympathy

My sincere condolences. Your dog dying can be one of the hardest, lonesome experiences in life. Truly it can be man's best friend. Take your time to mourn, and remember the times you had.

And move on. Death is another part of life.

Sorry for your loss. 12 years is a pretty good life for a Lab. Having Dogs can be tough because we get so attached despite them having short lives. You just have to remember you and her got 12 years of happiness for what will be a (relatively) short time of pain.

My Sincere Condolence To You. It's like loosing one of Your Family Members Right. ? Cheer Up and Smile Buddy, I think He died Happy Because He received so Much Love from You.

My dog passed away a few months ago,so I know what you're going through.

Just one day he was doing fine and the next I went to take him outside, carried him downstairs and put him down so I can open the door for him to go.
But he started to walk around in circles ,crying and passed out still breathing but he urinated. Then he woke up but he seemed different as if he wasn't really there. Later at night he passed out again but this time when he came to he was having trouble breathing.

My parents thought he was sick, and I wanted them to take him to the vet but they didn't have the money to go check. So I stayed up for 2 nights keeping an eye on him. He couldn't sleep and still had that odd breathing problems. Then on the third day, I told my mom that Toby wasn't able to breath nor sleep well and I feared we had to be put him down. He didn't even want to eat at all any more and that was his favorite thing, was food. So my mom decided to take him.

I picked him up and took him to the car, with my mother driving. While in the car, he didn't want to sit still so I placed him on the floor and all of a sudden he did this weird movement, snapped his head back and died. I yelled and cried saying "Nooo, damn it he's deadd. He's really dead......Mom drive faster he's alive".....So I thought but it was just a way the body reacts once a living thing dies. I thought he was still alive cause it looked like he was breathing and moving his leg. But when I see into his eyes I knew he was gone.

The hardest part for me was having to carry him into the vet. He seemed like he was alive, breathing but his eyes had no life in it and his body was heavy.
The Vet told use he was indeed dead, and gave us a box to put him in,telling us we don't need to paying for anything.

It took me awhile to bury him as well, but I picked a good spot and lay some good stones on top of his grave.
Not a day goes by without me thinking of the times I had with my dog. I also got sick because of it.

Also I'm getting ready to move as well to my own house and leaving my dogs grave is making me sad.

But I guess that life, and you have to keep going thinking that your dog is in a better place know.

Best dog I ever had was a black lab named Thump. He was blind and ran into walls all the time. Eventually he had a stroke and I had to shoot him. I cried my eyes out. A year later my grandmother died. Not a tear.
We all gotta learn how to deal with death sometime.

Now for a joke to brighten your day...
Advice? Bury him.

I was on vacation when my first dog died. The people looking after her didn't leave the fan on for her to cool off and she died of a heat stroke.
